Terms of Service
These terms define acceptable use, account responsibilities, billing behavior, data accuracy limits, and the contact path for removal or dispute requests.
Updated August 14, 20261. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PubMonitor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PubMonitor is a web intelligence platform that provides traffic analytics, AdSense publisher data, and domain insights. The data displayed is aggregated from publicly available sources and third-party providers.
3. Data Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate information:
- Traffic estimates are modeled approximations, not exact measurements
- Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain inaccuracies
- Rankings and statistics are provided for informational purposes only
- PubMonitor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service without authorization
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the data to harass, defame, or harm others
4a. Prohibited Uses (Explicit)
PubMonitor is a market-research and analytics product. It is not designed for, and may not be used for:
- Ad fraud, click manipulation, invalid-traffic generation, or other activities that violate Google AdSense Program Policies or any third-party advertising platform's terms of service
- Account takeover, credential discovery, or any attempt to log into AdSense accounts you do not own
- Doxing, stalking, harassment, or de-anonymization of natural persons
- Building or training automated systems that abuse third-party advertising networks
- Reselling, repackaging, or redistributing PubMonitor data in violation of these Terms
- Any activity prohibited under the Acceptable Use Policy of our payment processor
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are engaged in any of the above activities, with or without prior notice.
4b. Fair Use
Plan limits reflect intended human and integration use. We may throttle, suspend API tokens, or suspend accounts that exceed plan limits or exhibit automated bulk-extraction patterns, without refund of the current period. You may not use the Service to build, train, or enrich a dataset that competes with PubMonitor, and one account may not be shared across organizations. Bulk data access and redistribution are available under a separate data licensing agreement — contact us.
5. Accounts
Some features require a Google account for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account.
5a. Billing & Renewals
Paid subscriptions (Pro, Business) are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle, depending on the plan you choose. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. The renewal charge is billed to the payment method on file at the price displayed at the time of renewal (price changes communicated at least 30 days in advance).
Payments are processed by our payment processors, Creem or Stripe (as indicated at checkout and on your receipt). Card data is handled exclusively by the payment processor and never stored on PubMonitor servers. Receipts and invoices are sent after each successful charge.
5b. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep paid features until then, and the next renewal will not be charged. To cancel, sign in and use the “Cancel subscription” control on the Subscription tab, or open the Customer Portal link to manage payment methods and cancellation directly.
5c. Refunds
Refund eligibility, time-frames, and process are documented in our Refund Policy. The headline policy:
- 7-day money-back on first purchase (once per customer; fair-use limits apply)
- 72-hour grace window on unused renewals
- Always refundable: duplicate charges and clear billing errors
- Refunds processed back to the original payment method via the processor used for your purchase (Creem or Stripe)
For all refund requests, email support@pubmonitor.com.
5d. Trademarks & Third-Party Affiliations
PubMonitor is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Google AdSense, or any other third-party platform. Names like “Google”, “AdSense”, and the Google logo are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only for identification and interoperability purposes. PubMonitor displays public and modeled-estimate data; we do not represent or claim to represent any third-party platform.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and aggregated datasets, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.
7. Data Removal Requests
If you are the owner of a domain or AdSense publisher ID listed on PubMonitor and wish to have your data removed, submit the takedown request form or email support@pubmonitor.com. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and act on verified legitimate requests within 7 business days of ownership verification. The full workflow, including the evidence we accept and each step's timing, is documented on the takedown page.
8. Limitation of Liability
PubMonitor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall PubMonitor be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
PubMonitor is currently operated as an independent project by an individual operator rather than a registered legal entity. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith email negotiation. If the parties cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days of written notice, the dispute shall be governed by the laws of the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and submitted to the competent court at that location — unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
11. Operator and Contact
PubMonitor is operated as an independent project. The current operator's contact email is support@pubmonitor.com. The Service is provided "as-is" by an individual operator (not a registered legal entity at this time); see Section 8 for the limitation of liability. If the operating arrangement changes (for example, the project is incorporated into a legal entity), this Section will be updated.
